Overview

The RIGHT information. Right now.
In your busy schedule, having accurate patient information at your fingertips is critical. And there is no time for false alarms. With Dash® monitors from GE Healthcare, you get the most accurate patient information in a single, portable platform. Now you can have leading-edge capabilities for complete data virtually anywhere you need it.

With the best selection of gold standard algorithms, Dash monitors reduce false arrhythmia alarms. Dash leads the industry in rejecting artifact from pacemakers. The easy-to-use interface and color-coded patient cables simplify monitor use throughout the hospital. Industry-leading integration and networking capabilities move patient data quickly and reliably throughout the enterprise. With Dash, you can provide unparalleled continuity of care.

A vital TRILOGY.
Dash is based on the critical trilogy of Clinical Excellence, Care Continuity and Knowledge Convergence at the point of decision. These three components work together to support unsurpassed patient care by delivering life-critical data to the bedside, across the hospital and at every point in between. With Dash, it’s as simple as one, two, three.

The future of ALARM management.
Dash monitors incorporate advanced parameters that reduce false alarms, increase accuracy and help you identify cardiac events faster than ever before. With these technologies, Dash can help you provide the best patient care.

Cut out false alarms.
IntelliRate™ is the first algorithm on the market to display heart rate measurements with specific patient data in mind, instead of taking measurements according to standard monitor settings. It rejects inaccurate readings due to noise, pacemaker artifact or low-amplitude QRS complexes in the ECG signal.

IntelliRate considers alarms in context of other parameters, reducing false low heart rate alarms by 72 percent and false asystole alarms by 89 percent, compared with IntelliRate off. By improving the accuracy and reliability of heart rate measurements, this technology reduces needless clinician interruptions, improves workflow and reduces risks ssociated with high false alarm rates.

This is just one example of how GE is setting the pace for alarm management and future healthcare standards.

Accuracy is a heartbeat away.
GE’s two exclusive blood pressure algorithms, DINAMAP® classic and the new SuperSTAT™, improve speed, comfort and artifact rejection while retaining superior accuracy. SuperSTAT combines ECG information with oscillometric data to provide quick and accurate blood pressure readings on any patient – even those with irregular heart rhythms.

The SuperSTAT algorithm, available with the Masimo® Sp02 option, assesses motion artifact to effectively distinguish signal noise. It provides accurate readings even in high-noise environments. SuperSTAT detects NIBP values on the smallest signals, allowing you to obtain blood pressures on any patient, including neonates.

Identify and improve.
Atrial fibrillation (AFib) is the most common arrhythmia that results in hospitalization in the United States. AFib is responsible for significant morbidity and mortality and is a substantial contributor to healthcare expense. Identification of AFib is critical to effectively treat and monitor potential complications. Dash monitors provide AFib detection, allowing you to easily identify and treat atrial fibrillation occurrences, resulting in improved patient outcomes.

The COMPLETE package.
Dash monitors offer a high-performance, mobile monitoring solution that provides life-critical patient data no matter where you are. This technology allows you to remotely view patient information throughout the enterprise. In addition, Dash can be a part of your move to completely integrated patient records.

Good to go.
Extremely easy to use, Dash monitors are versatile enough to implement throughout your enterprise. Lightweight, durable and ergonomic, Dash can be used wherever you need a reliable patient monitor.

Dash monitors move easily from room to room while maintaining connectivity to your network. The color-coded connectors simplify set-up, while the built-in wireless LAN ensures seamless transitions between hard-wired and wireless networking. You can easily add advanced technologies such as the Dash Responder® defibrillator with ease.

Smooth connections to the Dash Port docking station ensure fast transitions. The built-in printer lets you conveniently print strips anytime, anywhere. Long-lasting batteries power Dash for extended use and help support facility-wide portability. In addition, you can change batteries without loss of function.

Connect. Integrate. Communicate.
Now you can have the most complete patient record with connection to the Unity Network® – GE’s real-time patient data network. The Unity Network supports device convergence, data continuity, viewing capabilities and wireless solutions, while providing connectivity to CIC, HIS, CIS, Solar® patient monitors, the MUSE® Cardiology Information System and MARS® Holter review systems.

The Unity Network facilitates integration and continuity by supporting HL7, bedside convergence and platform-to-platform data continuity. The open architecture protects your investments by leveraging existing infrastructure (VLAN), offering compatibility with off-the-shelf components and providing full backwards compatibility. The full-scale features of the Unity Network save the clinician time, manage alarms and provide information anywhere, anytime – all to enable clinical excellence.

Remote monitoring on the fly.
With Auto View on Alarm XM (AVOA XM), you can remotely view alarms and other patient information on beds throughout the care unit. There’s no need for a separate server; the monitors and network handle all the capability. AVOA XM automatically displays user-selected alarms on user-designated bedside monitors. It streamlines your workload and adds another level of customization. The last alarm event, vital signs and graphic trends are accessible for the remotely viewed bed.

Gold standard parameters. Real RESULTS.
